Recently purchased '04 2.7t s-line AUTO (couldn't find a manual!!). So far, the only thing I have done to it is the APR chip upgrade and put some nice Dunlop winter tires on the stock 17"s.

I am looking to replace the downpipe, exhaust, etc. I don't mind spending money to get something nice. I was planning on the Vast piggys...here are some of the things I was looking at:

http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-C5_A6-...ust/Down_Pipe/
http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-C5_A6-...aust/Cat_Back/

Problem is, my car is automatic...

With that in mind, and knowing that I really could care less if I drop $$$ on this, what are some suggestions? I am looking to add HP and good sound. Would probably like to replace downpipe back....

thanks in advance!

the s line doesn't come in a manual...

downpipes and exhaust are great upgrades for this car. If you want to get the stage 1 chip, dont bother. Just wait and go full stage 3, the chip will hasten turbo death.

The chip itself will not hasten turbo death, but the pure fun of gunning it all the time because of the increased power will. I chipped mine at 75k and just turned 181k with oem turbos, but I don't accelerate hard (much) and drive mostly highway. As far as exhauses that include front pipes, take a look at the ECS Tuning systems. A little pricey but they should help performance and reduce backpressure, like piggies.

I don't know the difference between stage 1 or stage 3? Car was stock, I had ECS tuning do the APR 93 Octane chip upgrade. No idea what stage that was...

I love ECS, and they are fairly near my house in Ohio, so I can pick things up from there and save on any shipping costs.

So I would need this:
http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-C5_A6-...n_Pipe/ES4379/

and this?

http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-C5_A6-...t_Back/ES4385/

that looks like it will cover everything from the turbos to the back tips? Except for maybe the 2nd set of cats? So would I need to buy replacement cats too, or do they just leave those off when they install these 2 parts?

That is like...$2500 worth of stuff. I don't mind spending the money (I bought a 2004 instead of something newer so that I could buy more cool stuff for it!), but I want to make sure I am spending it fairly smartly.

thanks again for the help!
