Hi, wondering if the valance on the bottom/back bumper of the 2000/2001 A6 is the same size as the 2002-2004 valance (that has the exhaust cuttouts)?

I ask because I am interested in swapping out the 2000 valance with one that has the exhaust cuttouts and putting straight pipes on the back to give it the same exhaust look as the 2002-2004 A6s.

Anyone know?

 

Yep they are the same my daughters 02 bumper will fit just fine on my 01 the only difference I saw was hers has the backup sensors I am not sure if they were optional in 02 or if they all came with them. I checked when I had my bumpers off for painting as I was thinking of doing the same switch.

 

Yeah, wonder if it could be just as easy as changing the valance to the 2002-2004 version and welding on some straight pipes instead of the downturned stock ones. Hmm.
