2000 audi a6 4.2 quattro
I Have had so many probs with my car but i love it. I have a p1545 coad it is the throttle POS Do i need to replace the throttle body? i can turn the car on and hit the gas it does nothing wont even rev. but it will if i start the car a few times. this is weird because i just got my car outta the shop and it just started doing this. I havnt drivin my car in so long because its one thing after another with it. so my question is should i replace it or is there something els i should do. i was told i cant just change the sensor i have to change the whole throttle body. is this true??
Try cleaning the throttle body. Then recalibrate the throttle body position by disconnecting the battery, and waiting as noted below.
Disconnect the battery only if you have the radio code. Anyways, disconnect for about 5 to 10 minutes. Reconnect and turn the key to on position without starting the car. Let it sit for a couple of minutes and it should be it.

also dont worry about the radio code. ive disconnected my battery atleast once every 2 months and never once have i had to have the radio code.

from my 5 mins with google ive read that this code is caused by the throttle body. replace it.
a person took his out and found a plastic stuck to his which was causing the error. you should probably do the same take out and clean it.
read this carefully
Where are these?
good luck
