Hey Guys,
I have an 2000 Audi A6 4.2 and I have transmission problems.The car wont move at all.Whenever I charge the battery it drains almost immediately.Is there anyway I can purchase a different year transmission and put it in the car? If so what would I need in order to do so? Thank you for your time.

 

you have to pull the entire engine out to swap the tranny.. Toss the car unless you've got 4-8k to do all the work

One common problem is a neoprene gasket that fails at the base of the plastic passenger area air intake, under the passenger air filter.
It's much easier to do when replacing your windshield, because the trim is already removed allowing access to the difficult air intake back screw.
