Default 2000 AUDI A6, 6 speed, 2.7 Quatro

I bought this car in October, and love the drive, feel, experience, etc., but I can find nothing out about it. This model with a six speed option does not seem to exist anywhere. Does anyone else out there have one of these? It is a 2.7 Quatro and is turbo charged as well. One unique item is that the only door lock control is on the drivers side. It also has a phone built in the arm rest as well as GPS navigation.

I have had a 2000 for about a month now. Yes they are hard to find I drove 400 miles to pick mine up. That was the closest one to me which also happened to be the best deal, but we were willing to go 1000 miles that weekend to check out some other ones. Ihadto have the six speed, I have never had to drive an auto as a daily driver and pray that day never comes. So far I absolutely love the car, but have yet to repair anything (knock on wood). So only time will tell.

Why don't you like the auto box? I've only ever driven cars with a manual box until I bought my A6. Now I'd never bother with a manual again. Just curious why you don't like them?

I have a 2002 6 spped (see sig). Some people just like shifting gears with a clutch and a proper stick. Autos are getting better and better these days. Still, Autos are usually more expensive as an option (i believe it was the same on the A6), and can be pricy to replace on these cars. Then again, a new clutch can be too.

I love driving and to me it just adds to the driving experience, lets you be a little bit more involved. However, I live in North Dakota, very little traffic. If I lived in a big city I probably would go for the ease of an auto, but I doubt that either of those two things will ever happen.
