this is my 2001 4.2 all stock except for the suspension, H&R full coilovers. She is a little dirty and the pics are bad but you get it. would like to get some different rims but that will come in time. I also plan to put my subs in also but dont know if i can run my amp and subs off the stock amp.

 

widebody is sexy ... well u cnt run off stock amp ... to connect your after market sub amp u need to tap the wires from teh radio b4 they get to the factory amp ... it was hard for me to figure this out at firstt but easy on every other audi i had

That was my dream car for the longest time, with the two tone. Love the wide fenders and the side blades [&o]o well. congrats on the new car. I ended up getting a 2.7t.

 

you can get the wide blades ... i b ought them ... they fit on 2.7^^^^^^

 

hmmm sounds good. thanks for that joetm. u have been a big help lately but its not the same as the 4.2. and the sound! its a beast. I really do love my car though, plus I can mod it out.

 

just wondering how much and where is the 4.2 wider then the 2.7t, is it the wheels stick further out and a wider bumper? cause I saw ppl mention it a few times...

 

The fenders are wider and the small moldings on the doors, the wheels have a different offset. thans for the love.

 

The wheel arches are wider and the door blades stick out alot further, you can get them from ecstuning for about $300. maybe more I'm not 100% sure since I havn't bought them YET.
