Hi all,

Im new to this forum. Just bought an A6 and I am trying to fix some small issues.

The ashtray will not open when I push the front.

I removed the ashtray and found that the cylindrical sheet metal spring (?) was loose.

I cant figure out how this spring is supposed to be installed. at the rear of the ashtray there are two latches that the spring is supposed to be mounted in but where do I attach the tongue (?)
