Default 2001 A6 the same as 2004 A6?

SO I could tell you everything you wanted to know about 1968-1972 Ford F-100 pickups... but I haven't got a clue about the transitional years and my 04 Audi A6 S-Line... other than the fact that I love this car!!!

I have a chance to pickup a 2001 A6 for the cheap, I have only seen low res photos, but I think it may even be a S-Line (at least it has the trunk spoiler and wheels)! My questions is, are most if not all the parts swappable? I will be parting the car out, but alot of the wear items I am going to keep stored in the shed out of the way til I need it. Front end of the car is wrecked up to the core support, so some items are unusable.

I just wondered if anyone had input on this. I know that there were some transitions in the ealry 2000's and late 1990's models...

any help would be appreciated.

Be specific on the engine type. I assume your S-line has 2.7T. The body parts look the same except some minor differences on front and rear lights. The tranny is not swappable too.
Cheers,
