2002 Audi A6 3.0 Quattro
Hi,
Coworker is moving to London and selling his 2002 A6 3.0 Quattro. In great shape, have all service records from Audi dealer. car is at 54k miles. Looking to sell for ~9k. Seems like a decent level, but dont want to be stuck with a bunch of expensive repairs. Plan on keeping the car for 3 years at about 15k miles per year.
Have read a bunch of reviews stating the plethora of problems people have had after the 60-70k mile mark and the expenses associated with all the repairs.
Should I look for a deeper discount to compensate for the expected repairs?
What has been your experience with this model?

I have the same year/model and I think if given the choice I'd do another one if I could find a low mile/maintained one... but probably a more power engine next time around.
I believe the timing belt service interval expires by time as well as miles, so the manufacturer may consider it due for timing belts although the miles are low.
