hi everyone, I am new to this forum. I just purchased a 2002 audi a6 4.2 from the dealer with 57,000 miles. I just wanted to know about the ac climate control. The one I have now is all faded where the + - buttons are. I wanted to swap it out with a another one in better condition off of ebay. The only difference I saw was that certain models that instead of having the little arrow on the left bottom part of the unit, it has the OFF button instead. Does this make a difference? Mine does not have the off button, it has the arrow. Would really appreciate any help, thanks...

 

Those units with the OFF button are from 2001 and earlier. The finish is glossy black plastic vs. the rubbery matte balck finish for 2002 and later, so it will visually not match your radio. I cannot sepak to the electrical connections on the rear of the unit.
