Default 2002 audi a6 head light question

is the head light housings suppose to be on a track in there to keep it steady?... cause on my drivers side its loose, like if i goto change the light bulb i can wiggle around the whole housing

I don't think its supposed to be on a track? I've been working on my headlights for the last couple of days, and I haven't seen them on any kind of track. Only thing holding em in are the screws on top. Unless I'm completely blind, which could be a strong possibility.

ya huh, cuz when i take off the clips with the cover and jiggle the wire/lighbulb part its movable, like up and down and in and out, the whole housing of the headlight. O ur talkin bout the screws on top , sorry, i ment to say inside the headlight cover, that part
