Default 2003 rs6 vs 2003 stage 3 a6

I have a 6 speed 2.7 and want comments on should I upgrade to stage 3 or spend money and get rs6. It would only cost about 6,000 to upgrade to stage 3 from were I am currently. Does anyone know if you can match the speed of the RS6 0-60, 1/4, ect., or do you need the V8 twin turbo to do this. I know you can get some serious power from the 2.7, but will it be close to the RS6.

An RS6 really isn't all that impressive stock when you drive it, don't get me wrong it pulls like a bull but a stage 3 A6 would have no problem walking up next to it. Plus the maintance on an RS6 is a freaking nightmare man. Timing belt every 40k, price for parts is off the scale, and just look under the hood!!!
I would only recommend someone buy an RS6 if they made over $150,000 a year and even thats kinda low.

I was thinkin the same thing, on Autotrader, a 2003 RS 6 will run you over $40K. I don't care what kind of car it is, unless it summ'em real like a Lambo or summ'em, I wouldn't spend $40K on a 2003. I would do the $6,000.
