were sun shades not an option in 2004 on the a6? this car doesn't appear to have them...

but does have PREMIUM PLUS PKG. I would think this package would include sun shades. In looking at several 2003 and older...they appear to have the shades.

it has to also have the hot weather package, which came with rear passenger sun shades and the rear window shade. they also had a moonroof with a solar panel built in that powered a little interior fan when the car was off and sitting outside.

 

another way to tell is the button for the rear sun shade will be right here: (see picture)

Be very wary of the auction. The seller has only been a member of e-bay for a week. His only other sale was to another short time member. The provided phone number is a cell number, not a land line. There is not a single telephone listing for someone with the seller's last name anywhere in the United States or Canada. The provided address isan apartment building across the street from a college campus.

 

yeah... the auction makes me nervious. I've spoke to the guy, and if I buy the car the plan is a bank draft and a cashiers check, that I will deleiver when I pick the car up...pendingthe caris, as advertised.

Really not too sure I can get scammed if I don't give him the draft or the check until I have the car. Thoughts? He has a few other auctions up now.

I've also got a copy of the title and other paper work for the car. so far everything checks out.

He paypal accounts also is a verified premier member with 19 transactions, and dating about almost two years.

 

Paypal account goes back 2 years, but his e-bay account is 1 week old? That seems a bit strange. Have you checked thte title with DMV? Is the title in the same name that is used on the e-bay listing? Have you contacted Audi for the maintenance records?

yes...I agree, seems strange that his paypal ID goes back but Ebay doesn't...and I have asked him about it. Haven't got a reply yet.

I haven't checked the title yet...but by dad is a cop...I'll have him run it and see what we get.

I was planning on contacting Audi Monday morning for the service records.

 

If you close on the deal, get the guy's driver's license number. Just say you want it for validation/identificationof the title. That way your dad can run him down if youhave problems.

so how do I tell if this thing is pre-wired for sat radio? are they all that way? it has the shark fin...so I am guessing it is? maybe I'll have to do it purchase the unit itself?
