2005 4.2 parking brake stuck

Parking brake is stuck on and wont release. Is there any way to manually override it? Help!!

Thanks .. tried it it still did not not release the EPB so far i ave tried the TSB you provided disconnecting the battery and praying .. none have fruited the desired result.

Got it to release... the problem is apparently a loose connection at the rear right caliper..

Emergency brake light

Emergency brake light is flashing and alarming. Parking brake does not light up when switched on or off. Car does go into gear. What could be the problem?
