Dont know if this is the right place to ask but im looking to get some info before i get an estimate tomorow. What do you guys think it should cost to repair a dent that is no bigger than 4 x 4 inches and repaint it to the orignal blue color on a 2005 audi a6. Im guessing the area that needs to get repainted is about 8 x 8 inches. It is on the back left of the bumber in between the two left object detectors for backing up. Its basically a little dent and the bumber is torn into a little so there is a peice that kinda got pulled up above the dent ... but the damage area is very small.

If any one could give me a rough guess of what is should expect to pay that woukd be great.

Also does anyone know what a new back bumper for a 2005 a6 would cost?

I estimate collision damage for a living. Assuming the bumper cover is repairable, you are looking at about 2.5 hours labor to overhaul the bumper (take it off the car, take all the attached parts off it, and then reassemble it); about 2.5 hours to actually repair the damage, then another 2.5 hours to paint it. Depending on what your local shop hourly rate is, you're looking at a minimum of about $ 300 total, probably more.

Sorry - didn't see your last question. I do not have the database yet for the new 2005 A6's, but the rear cover for a 2004 A6 is about $ 650 list.
