Hi guys

I have had a complete CD changer failure, the motor arm has completely snapped. I have replaced the player with what I thought was a working 2nd hand unit. Initially when I switched it on first time, it worked fine, the second time I switched it on it skips every 1-2 seconds on every track on every CD. I sent the unit back assuming it was faulty.

I ordered another 2nd hand unit, again, fired it up first time it worked perfectly. The second time I have come to use it, its doing exactly the same thing, skipping every second or so.

I can only assume this is not an issue with the players but some sort of compatability or software issue with the car itself?

I have what I beleive is MMI basic plus, so I have the 6 CD change and Sat Nav in the glove box, with the red screen in the dash. I have the orginal Audi CD that says 4F0 919 884 on it, I am not sure if this is relevant or not?

Can anyone shed any light on the issue?
