Default 2006 Audi A6 Navigation Display Out

The navigation/Radio display works fine in hot weather. Now that its cold outside, the display does not come on. It will come on after the car has been running for a while. The dealer wants $1100 to replace a circuit board they said is located by the cup holders. They said that I spilled coffee on the circuit board. ????? I'm thinking its a cold solder problem. Where should I look??

Take a look at the TSB library that I set up with Dr. Cold. I have attached a link to the TSB that is the closest to the problem that I think you are experiencing. But there are several others dealing with MMI issues below 40 F.

You are not the only one with this problem. It is a common problem and that is why Audi issued a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin). Did you read it?
