Ok, on the Audi website it lists the new A6 as being turbocharged and a more powerful A6. How is that possible if it only comes with 300hp and the other A6's are in the 330s-350s hp range?

If this is the case, then its no sense buying the newer model which is slower (but the new headlights are cool).

 

1) If you look closer at the details, you'll notice that the new 300 HP is a 3.0L engine.
The 350 HP ones are 4.2L engines. That's a significant difference...

2) In turn, if you refer to comparing the 2009 3.0L with older similar A6 models perhaps you'll see the difference in HP and TORQUE.

 

The new A6 is also not turbochraged. Instead it has a supercharger.

 

indeed, they call it a turbocharger for some reason, but its a supercharger.
