Default 245/45/18's
I have a full set of 245/45/18's that someone gave me. The car currently has 235/40/18's. I need to know if anyone has had success with this size on an A6.

I have been to http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp and it came up with a 5% difference.

I'm not terribly concerned with the speedo error as I am about rubbing, especially in the front.

New size:








245/45/18
Diameter 26.68

Section Height
4.34

so yeah >5% diff.. it is suggested not to go over 2 or 3%.
