Default 3.2 mods?

Hey
I am a new owner of a 2006 A6 3.2. I am very pleased with the car overall, but I have not been able to find any mods at all. I would really love to find a CAI. Any ideas?

Also, I noticed that the 3.2L V6 has the exact same bore and stroke as the 4.2L V8 in some Audi cars. I know that there must be more to it than this, but since the RS4 can rev to 8000RPM, is there any reason my car couldn't with a simple ECU reflash? Thanks

The 3.2 is not a race car, its not a sports car, enjoy it for what it is. If you still want to do a mod replace the rear sway bar, H&R sells a pretty good one, and the handling will improve dramatically. Unitronic also sells a chip but the power improvements are only about 15 on HP and torque.

That 4.2 revs to 8k with loads of internal mods. A "normal" 4.2 wont do that, much less a 3.2. With a chip, the rev limiter might go up a few ticks, but not 8k. As far as intakes, for power a K&N panel in the stock box will do the best. However if you want sound, a homemade cone filter setup makes wonderfull noise. Thats what I have, since there isnt much reason in trying to make my lil 2.8 fast.
A cat back exhaust, will sound better, free up a little power, and might give a slight bump in fuel milage...
