Default 4.2 coolant leak HELP!!!

I have a 2001 a6 4.2, leaking coolant. It is dripping out on the passenger side of the motor towards the front, to the top of the oil pan then to the ground. It does not seem to leak when it is hot or running, only when cold. It will drain the coolant tank then stop. I have looked all over the place, top of motor bottom, removed bottom cover, inner wheel well plastic, and cannot find where it is coming from. I hate to remove the front end of the car if not needed. I am thinking that if I remove the alternator, I might be able to see where the leakis coming from , but no matter where or how I look I cannot find it. I have searched and all I can find is info on 3.0 and 2.7. Is it possible that the hose from the coolant tank is leaking where ever it is attached to the motor. At this point in time any help would be great.

thanks mcmopar

I did more research on the google, and I think that it is the plastic line on the oil cooler. Does this sound right to anyone else?

A buddy of mine is having the same issue and is leaking from the same spot. I am gonna dive into it next weekend. If you get there before me send me some pics.

The coolant lines to the oil cooler have been known to leak so it is a possibility. Impossible to tell from this angle, though.
