I am looking at a 5-speed 1995 A6. Does it require premium, or can I get away with using 87 or 89? I had an '87 4000 a number of years ago that got totaled when I was rear ended, and have been looking to get another Audi since.

 

I use 87 or 89 in my 00 2.8l and the manual says its ok.
