Are they suppose to have covers over the battery. Currently per the pre-owners advisement we've kept the rips shirt over the batter because it had caught fire before, melting part of the seat and the batter outer shell.
So my question is was there a cover and if not where might I find one. One that's NOT metal.

 

They didn't come with one. You'll have to make one on your own if you feel like you need it.
I just have plastic covers over the terminals, which you can find at any auto parts store.
