I have a 96 A6 Quattro with a large normal key that has a light on it and a small plastic. I want to get a keyless remotefrom ebay. What do I need to looked for.Do I need anFCC ID number, if so how do you get it from the car it self. I have no remote at all right now.

if its for remote lockingonly it can be programmed into the system but you need a master key in the ignition to do so ( for remote locking only ) remote plip as its called
