Hi there, Can anyone help me with a problem I'm having with my car please?
When I try to start it, sometimes I have to put pressure on the gear lever, pushing it forward to get it to start.

Once started it runs fine but without pushing on the lever it won't start or even turn over.
I have heard something about a switch which could be faulty or a cable that could be adjusted.

Does this sound right and if so is it much of a job to get at the said switch to change it and is it difficult to adjust the cable if this is needed.

One more thing what is the name of the switch please so I can try and source one and get a price.
