A6 2.7T mods - New to the forum
Hey guys! New member here.
I just bought my wife an 02 A6 2.7T Quattro with 36k miles and they included a 2 year Audi warranty.
So, seems how I still have the mod bug from all of the work I've done to my C32 AMG, I would like to give the wifey a little more power.
After searching the forums, I have decided to drop the car off today and have the APR chip installed with the Bailey Motorsport Diverter Valves. Other than that, is there anything else I should consider or be aware of?
Work I've done to the C32:
Renntech Custom Tuned ECU
LET Motorsports 185mm crank pulley (22 PSI on a stock C32)
Schrick Cams
Evosport Headers
Ported / Polished Heads and SuperCharger
3 Angle Valve Job
Random Tech 100 cell racing cats
Custom Exhaust
Denso Ik-20 Plugs
Magnecore Wires
SL55 Intake Splitter
Renntech Springs
Green Filters
Sprint Booster
I'm not looking to go this far out with the Audi unless I get hooked on it.

Welcome to the Audi brotherhood, Mr Mercedes. You'll have to let us know what you do to the car and how you like it compared to the others. I think you'll find it a fantastic ride in the Chicago snow. And that's very low miles for a 2002. Hopefully it was treated real well by the previous owner.

most important mods:
Hotchkis sport sway bars
Coil Over Suspension
Performance Chip
Downpipes
Clutch if it's a manual
APR Bi-pipe
Exhaust
ENJOY!!!
These will easily get into the 300-350hp range on short money. With deeper pockets 450-500 isn't unreasonable with some bigger turbo's and tuning.

Thanks for the info guys!
I took the car to GRD in Naperville and had them install the APR diverter valves and APR Stage I software. Wifey and I drove the car to Ohio for the weekend and there is a noticeable power increase, mostly from 2600 RPM and up.
I think the next mod will be the APR Bi-pipe.
Any others that you recommend?
Also, for those of you in Chicago, I arranged a track day on the MB forums. I will be driving my C32 and my friend will be driving the Audi. If anyone cares to come, you can find more info here. - http://www.mbworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=210345

If you are in the Chicago area, you should definitely reach out to the local Audi club guys...they runa quite a few track events, auto-x, etc. A bunch of them trucked their cars to Watkins Glen just last month, adn I think they are also headed to VIR in November. I think their local events are at Black Hawk Farms and Autobahn.

IMmight do VIR
Anyway, I would do Bipipe, Piggy pipes, HSport sway Bars (Probably top2 mod after chip), Shocks and Springs or C/O if $ not an issue, rear lip spoiler and 4..2 blades for looks, throwon some hela smoked tail lights, and SS brake lines.
I see you mention taking to the track, with stock brakes and suspension, it might not perform as well as yuo wish.
Brakes lines and beter brake apds, plus Sways will make a world of a difference,

Let us know what kind of times it runs. Is it a Tip or an MT6? I'm not going to race mine but I am curious if a chip makes a difference in the 0-60 and quarter mile times.
