Default A6 2.7t S-line turbo problem

Hello all, I just traded the 2.8 for an 04 A6 2.7t S-line. Upon changing the oil i discovered oil seeping from the clamp of the left (if you are standing under the car facing the rear) lower boost line. After opening the clamp and pulling the hose back a small amount of oil drip out. This car is in perfect condition all around and has 53,000 miles. Could this be from the system being under used (not reving the blower up high enough to push oil through) or is this a sign of a major problem ahead. Any input is greatly appreciated!

A small amount of oil is normal in the intake hoses. The oil will tend to collect at the low point. That is nothing to worry about. But, look higher to make sure that the oil on the outside of the clamp did not come from a leaking valve cover gasket. These normally start leaking and have to be replaced.

Somebody suggested the oil in the hoses is a sign of proper lubrication of the turbos?
(oil grade and lack of cooking deposits)

Thanks to everyone! I brought it to the dealer who found both a leaking valve cover gasket and a leaking turbo. They are pulling the engine to repair the turbo. Everyones help has been fantastic and I thank you for it!!!!!!!!!!!
