Audi A6 - Automatic - has 96,500 miles.

Has recently started doing this, feels like the engine is shuddering when I slow down, perhaps when down into 2nd gear, but definitely when coming to a complete stop.

Has anyone experienced similar problems, and if so, what can I do to fix it.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

Where do you feel the vibration?

Brake pedal? Steering wheel? Seat? shift handle?

Could it be warped brake rotors? That would only happen when you are braking.

 

Check for vacuum, throttle body, or intake leaks..
