Hi can any one shed any light on the problem i am having with my audi system. The sound from the system is interupted every 3-4 seconds, when i try to go onto phone, sat nav or cd the ststem goes back to radio. It is like it is searching. I have checked all fuses especially the aerial amplifier but all is ok.

Help please it is driving me mad.

 

Try to disconnect the battery for 1 hour.

 

Several people have experienced similar problems on this and other Audi forums. Many have reported that the Bluetooth Module needed to be replaced. Apparently with the Bluetooth Module failing the car keeps searching for it causing the MMI to keep rebooting itself.

 

Switch off the TMC, that is usually the problem. The radio thinks its picking up a traffic report and interrupts everything. This should solve your problem.
