A6 3.0L timing belt change info
I've got an '04 A6 3.0L with 75k miles and am getting ready to replace the timing belt. I'm looking for information from those of you have done it on the following:
a - Best source for a service manual
b - Best source for a replacement kit (belt and.....)
c - Must have "special tools" (and source if known)
d - Recommendation of "While you're at it..." maint. to perform while I've got it stripped down
Thanks in advance from a new user

I just replaced my timing belt water pump ,idler pulleys and thermostat on a 2004 A6 2.7 T
I ordered the timing belt kit from BLAUfergnügen! Inc. All German parts the kit was complete right down to the antifreeze. They even provided step by step instructions with pics. I also rented the tool kit from them. All in all I am very happy, everything went well. Car runs great. Good luck. Just an added note my car has 95000 miles and the timing belt looked pretty good no cracks I think it would have lasted at least an additional 20000 miles. But why chance it.
