Default A6 3.2 FSI Quattro Yes/No

Dear all,

I'm looking at buying an Audi A6 (2004 -2005) and obviously the 3.2 FSI Quattro looks good. Just need some advise whether to avoid and go for the 2.4 FSI maybe? Any known issues with the 3.2? Any advise what is the best petrol engine?

Many thanks in advance!

Adi

I enjoy my A6, gives me no issues and I love the sport mode. If you have never owned an audi before the A6 runs around 60-70 dollars to change the oil if you wanna do things the right way and put good quality oil. Also the transmission oil needs to be changed at 70,000 miles and 100,000 miles after that. For a full replacement of the filter and everything you drain 9L which runs around here in Alaska 48 dollars a liter for the correct spec for the oil.

Even though they tell you that you NEVER have to change your transmission that's a lie. I also recommend running premium for best performance
