Default A6 4.2 mods?

Hello to all. . . new to Audiforum

Ive always loved Audi's and i just bought my first one. I have a 2001 Audi A6 4.2 V8 has a 105k on it from an Audi technician i have know for few years now.
I have been doing some research on my own in regards to finding a few upgrades, but for this model i am finding it is hard to find much if anything. Any pointers would be much appreciated. My personal plans for first upgrades on this 4.2 are pretty basic (im open to any suggestions before i proceed) cold air intake, crossdilled/slotted rotors appropriate pads, cat-back exhaust(having trouble finding exhausts no bumper cut-outs for exhaust tips this models tips "dump" due to back-up sensors in bumper), set of black performance wheels/tires, add stock Audi spoiler small one that was mounted on the trunk just gives it that extra great look dont know where would be good/affordable place find that, thats all for now.
Any suggestions/details on brands, applications or customizing is much appreciated take care...

As you've already noticed there is a lot less made for the 4.2 vs. the 2.7/8.
Ive had some luck with lltek for general mods and milltek for exhaust

I've been on these forums for a long time and there is alwys the desire to add power to cars. The 4.2 is already a hot car, unless you are an engineer and computer expert or employ one , you will not get usable power increases to this car without compromising reliability or driveability. Changing intakes and exhausts does increase power, but not so you can tell it ,no matter what the advertising says. The best thing you can do for this car is to replace the air filter, MAF, the O2 sensors and the plugs, install all synthetic fluids and give the car a real good sensor run on the scanner to be sure everything in the powertrain management is in range. Most cars of this age and mileage are down 20% or more on power just due to dirty/tired sensors, weak coils and plugs. You will never get this much by hanging an exhaust on it!

That Jag^^ is sexy!!

Ad www.JHmotorsports.com IMO is leading the way in breaking the wall for our v8 performance parts. they don't have alot of stuff, but they are testing the waters and have a few options.
