a6 blinker problem
I am cluieless on this one. I have a 99 a6 avant, my left front blinker/marker light does not liht up at full potential. It also blinks much more rapid than myright blinker. They blink at the same rate wnhen on hazards though. I took the bulp and its plastick socket out and i tested the contact points on the plastic socket and all seme to have continuiy. I have noticet a burn mark on one of the contact points and i cleaned it away but no help. The crazy light bulb just wount light as bright as the other and i don't see any evidence of a burned light bulb.
Does anyone know what is going on?

RE: a6 blinker problem
I had a similar problem on my other car. Usually it happens when the bulb's blown. Try replacing the bulb. Thats whatI did and it was fine.
Hope this helps.

RE: a6 blinker problem
Add a dab of solder on the burned part of the bulb socket. Sometimes they burn down causing the signal to arc across which produces the fast blinking. A dab of solder will fix the blinking problem.
