Just got this 97 2,6 Avant automatic.
There are no lights to show what the gear lever is in.
Not on the dashboard or close to the gearstick
Are these bulbs easy to replace ?
Any answer in this topic is highly appreaciated

 

The lights are in a vertical line to the right of the speedo and fuel gauge and to the left of the clock. I believe there is a small reed light or lights behind the indicator. They can be replaced by removing the instrument cluster. There are numerous how to's on quattroworld. Done read the Bentley, they tell you to remove the steering column. This is not necessary. The bulbs are available at Radio Shack for a couple dollars. I recommend you replace all of the dash bulbs when you remove the cluster.
