is it oke to remove the resonator from the audi a6 c6? will the sound of the muffler change a lot?
is it oke to install the k&n intake into the car? will it make that much different?

I have no idea about the Resonator, but as for the K&N intake, I would not recomend messing with a cold air intake. I read a huge post about how well our airboxes work *2.7t* so it was not needed. I did however just add the K&N drop in filter and I do notice a bit of diffrence. The car gets off the line much better, but after that no real diffrence. The turbo chargers are more audible and I found if you upshift to 3rd at around 3-3.5xxx rpm you will discover a very sweet noise coming from the turbo.

 

Between the wheel question, and the resonator question, it is starting to sound like you are trying to turn yor C6 into a tuner project to try and compete with the rice rockets. Which engine do you have? If it is a 3.2 you are never going to turn it into a credible street car. Even if it is the 4.2 you are going to need to add a supercharger, which runs north of $10K,in order to turn it into a credible street car. If you are not going to add the supercharger to the 4.2, you should probably just enjoy the C6 for what it is, a great highway car. If you want an A6 to tune, you should be looking at the C5s with the 2.7ts.
