A6 Hazards and beeping while off
Hi All,
I have a Audi A6 2016 Black Edition. About 2 weeks ago my car didn't start because it hadn't been driven for about 2 weeks prior. The battery was just short of starting the car, so I started the car using a jump starter kit and took it for a long drive.
When I got back, turned the car off and locked it, about 10 minutes later, it was beeping (not a loud alarm sound, but a loudish beeping noise) along with the headlights and hazards flashing faster than normal.
To stop it I would unlock the car with my key fob and lock it. It stops for about 5 minutes and starts again, I would repeat the cycle of unlocking and locking until eventually it stops alarming.
I took it for another drive today and when I got back and locked it, 5 minutes later it was doing the same thing. I've locked it and unlocked it with the actual physical key this time and even with the keyfob but its alarmed approx 3-4 times, with me having to unlock and lock each time. It seems to only do this after being driven and its random of how many times it does it, I just have to unlock and lock and wait around to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Any ideas as to what it is? I've noticed my spare key fobs battery has died but my main one hasn't. But this issue has cropped up since the day I had to jump start my car with the jump starter.
Thanks for any suggestions in advance.
