Hi i have a A6 1997 and as soon as i turn key the interior lights stay on and dont go off till i remove key, having problems also with alarm . Is this related and how do i go about fixing it ??

Try this.... get in the car..... Turn the ignition and sart it.... then press the dome light button. Then try opening and closing your door and press the dome light button again.

Sometimes the Audi's get confused since they turn on and off automatically when doors are open and cars are turned off. Experiment a bit with that combo and see if that doesn't fix it.

Happens to me sometimes too.
