Default A6 timing belt

Hi

I'm new and just purchased a 02 a6 Avant Quatro. It has 110,000 miles.

I got manuals but no mait. records and am concerned about the timing belt.

Is there any way to tell if the belt has been changed.

thanks

If you could open the belt covers (front of the engine) a look at the belt should tell you the condition.
There is no way to figure out if or what else have been changed (from the t belt satellite components).
110k is in the middle of the life of a second t.
It is hard to believe a belt (first-original) could last this long.
(Audi initially had a maintenance schedule at 155 k km but latter changed it (without publicity ) to 115 k km).
But this could be an expensive guess and gamble.
What is your engine, btw?
