Default A6 tint advice

i have a 2002 red a6 with black interior, i'm getting a 35% tint tomorrow morning. Is it too light?, it is nc's legal limit, and with my black interior it should look darker?, what do you guys think?

P.s I got a european plate for christmas, i dont want to drill holes in my front bumper, what should i use to stick it on there.

I got mine tinted 20% on the front doors and 15% on the rest of them. I like it. I live in Oklahoma. We don't really have any laws that they will actually enforce. So we are pretty much safe unless you have limo tint. I have Tan interior and it looks descent.

The tint percentage can be hard to tell, it depends on how many windows on the car are tinted.
If you just doing the rear windows at 30% you will be able to see through the window easilly but they will still look dark. Now if you have both the rear and front windows tinted at 30% (like i have) then its harder to see through all the windows because there is less light inside the vehicle.
5% Being the darkest, (limo tint) If you don't want anyone to see through the rear windows then using a 5% film on the rear windows with a 35% or darker film on the front windows is needed.

I was going to ask a question about tint but instead I'll hijack your thread; if anyone cares to reply anyway...

I too am looking to get my A6 tinted. It is silver and I plan on going very dark in the back and probably 30-35% in the front.

I am in San Diego and would like to know if anyone knows of a good place to go. I'd rather spend more for a quality job than save $$ but have it turn purple in a year or two.

Thanks in advance

A6in:
I am in NC as well, check my pcis, I have 35% on all 4 side windows and rear windshield.
Mine has the lighjt interior. My buddy's A6 (Adam, posted pics of his car on here before) is exactly the same tint but he has the dolphin grey ext and Black interior... His windows look darker and better.
A trick you can use is do 20 on the rear windshield and 35 on the 4 side windows. It'll darken the whole thing and at inspection they usually check a side window

Around here there`s no limit for the rear windshield... so I hope 30 sides + 5 rear windshield + black int. will be dark enough[>:]

Minnesota's tint laws are shiiityy. 50% all the way around, but my tint guy told me a nice little trick if you have an illegal tint and see a cop open up the sunroof if you have one. Lets a lot more light in and makes the tint look lighter.
