A6 Weight?

A6 Weight?

I've seen a lot of references to the A6 being a heavy vehicle, especially with quattro and the 4.2l V8. Does anyone know the actual weight of the car(full tank of gas)in the following configurations:

A6 2.8l FWD
A6 2.7T AWD
A6 4.2l AWD

I'm not as concerned about the year as the relative difference in weights. I don't think they gained/lost much over the years. I did a search and did not find anything at all on this forum.

2.7T Quattro ~3925
4.2 Quattro ~4025

Not as much difference as expected (the 4.2 is an aluminum engine).

From Autotrader. Find you car for sale, click on the Model Info tab (not every listing has this), then click on technical specs.

The 3.0 Avant shows 3924# curb weight,
