Default ABS Light

I took my 03 2.7T to dealer for 70k servicing. The very next day after getting it back, the ABS light comes on. I ran Vag diagnostics and got a 00283 - Front Left ABS Wheel Sensor (G47) code. What should I expect to pay for this repair? Any assistance appreciated.

No clue on the wheel sensor. An ABS unit from Audi is about a grand or you can get yours re-manufactured for under $300. That doesn't address the sensor, I know. I hope someone has some experience here and can answer for both of us.

Although the code may relate to the ABS module, it may actually be just the sensor. Did they work on your brakes or anything?

Anyways, if the ABS module is bad, it usually blocks communications to all measuring blocks relating to the brakes from what I heard. Why don't you check the wheel sensor and connection and see what happens.
