If the car is out of warranty you have to pay for the repair.

Default Thanks for the TSB!

This forum is awesome... I just started having this issue with my 2006 A6 3.2 shortly after my 85K service. Cold center, HOT, HOT side and rear vents... I did find I was able to "reset" it by turning the temp all the way up/down but like an earlier post said, that's crazy... Thank you for the TSB Kevin... I'll be scheduling a visit with my dealer soon... before my 100K CPO warranty expires!

Kevin,

Would you mind sending me that TSB as well? I've noticed this problem after driving more than 45 minutes... just passed 80K on my '06...

...also having start-up problems (needing a jump every time I've tried to start my engine up this weekend) I do have a new battery (less than one year old).

I just fixed mine. Super easy using thread with pics and step by step instructions. Saved me $700. Tools needed. Torx wrench, soap and water or some sort of degreaser, and a shop rag. Time it took me, a half hour

Do you have a link to that thread? My 05 A6 just did this over Vail Pass this weekend. It reset after I turned off the car and then on again but as I'm coming to realize these issues dont fix themselves they just become more frequent. Thanks.

I looked at the service bulletin but there are no pictures. What thread with pictures are you talking about it? My 2005 A6 just started having this problem at about 90,000 on hot days.

You have literally saved my life with this thread!! Really appreciate it. Would it be at all possible to forward the full TSB to me so I can take it into audi as they are trying to charge me £420 to take a look !!

Thanks in advance
