Hi, I have an 04 A6 and appear to be getting a loud noise when I am manovouring on full lock. Someone said its like a squeeking noise! Any advice would be great - thanks.

 

Could it be your Mother in Law? Give more information on the circustances so we can give you some kind of guess.

 

When parking the car I have to put the steering on full lock, about a week ago I started getting a loud noise when reversing the car and the steering on full lock. I thought it sound like a loud crunching metal noise but my other half (man) said it was more of a loud squeak and thought it was because of the wet conditions - but still doing it and the sun is out. Steering itself and car all fine just this noise. Joanne

 

Could be alot of things like a loose inner fender liner rubbing against a tire. The only way to find out is to have someone look at it.
