Default A6 4.2 Won't shift out of first

I have already tried changing the output speed sensor and the wire harness that runs to it with no luck. Is my transmission bad? Battery was just about dead btw. I think that is where some of the electrical malfunction codes came from.

IIRC those are the codes you get when your torque convertor has gone south. Try a search for torque convertor and see what you can find.
