To all 2001 4.2 Owners
I was at my local dealer today to have a MAF sensor looked at. Sadly to to say that the MAF was not the problem but some hoses the had came lose. Which means I had to pay for the repair. Atleast I got my dirty car washed and cleaned.
But for you information there are several parts that have extented warranties.
The MAF sensor and the front O2 sensors are covered by a 7 year or 70000 miles warranty.
The ECU (engine control unit) and the Catalytic Converters are covered by a 8 year or 80000 warranty.
Just thought I would let everyone know so you dont go out and pay for a part that covered by Audi extended warranty.
