Default another wheel question

i really want to do a staggered wheel width setup on my car, but the wheel manufactorer doesnt have offsets for the wheels listen on the website. but im sure there has to be someone familiar with general sizes etc. i wanted to do a 20x10 in the rear and a 20x8.5 in the front. is that possible? oh yea car is a 2000 a6 quattro 2.8l

im sure you guys see this question alot, but every time i see someone ask about a big rim everyone starts to bash the guy for throwing something that big on the car. ive seen many pictures of a6's with 20's or 22's but i dont know if they have modded their cars yo accomodate the rims or if they just fit in there. im not autocrossing and i dont really care if my speedo is reading slower than im actually going. will they fit?

ok i did some searching aroound the forum and found a yellow a4 with 20x10's in the rear and he had fender flares so im assuming i would have to go the same route. but does anyone think the 20x8.5's would fit all the way around. ive seen posts that people say their 18's rub and others say that their 20's fit just fine.

Well, Yes this question is answered somewhere, but if you have a QUATTRO you should not do staggered wheels. Something about the 4 wheel drive and staggered tires just do not mix well. I don't recall the exact answer given, but the overall theme was dont do it!

well im probably going to throw the staggered wheel thing out anyways i dont think 10's will fit out back. im hoping the 20x8.5's will fit on the other hand. but still no response from the wheel manufactorer.

If you really want to do a Staggered look someone on another post recomemended putting spacers on the back wheels to flare them out. Someone correct me if im wrong about that, but that was the recomendation as i remember.

Get the staggerred look with a wheel like the Axxis decade maxxi lip without having to go stagerred. Stagerred is going to make the understeer worse on your car.
as far as 20's yeah they might fit, depends on a lot of factor and the overal set up though. As far as i am conerbed I ahve nbever seen a good looking A6 wiht 20's on... just does not look rigt but it is a matter of taste, also it'll ride like crap with rubber bands for tires.
But it can be done, there are members on here with 20's... try and revise your post title to mention 20' and you miht get some of those guys to post
