Bras are for girls. I've the cheap bras and the ultra expensive bras which are real leather and lambs wool etc. They all fade your paint and trap dirt and debris. Your best investment will be 3m's clear bra on your lower rear side skirts, side mirrors, hood and fenders. I think I priced it last at around 300.00 bucks. My car came stock with the rear and side mirror protection. None on front. This is your best protection.

Yeah I agree, the clear bra applications are good as far as I've heard. That might be your best bet.

This discussion begs a question...

Is an AUDI a male or female?

I always thought Audi was a macho male - Are some of you guys driving cross dressers?

Curvy lines, soft leather, turns other people's heads, sensitive to mistreatment....

Yeah, I don't know if there's that much of a question if our cars are male or female.
Then again, there is that whole metrosexual thing......

This is a good product that I have used on a different car.

Also, I believe ppgoal has one on his A6.

Indeed I do - a Colgan that I put on when I bought the car (used) 70k miles ago. It's held up well over 2-1/2 years although I put a rip in the bottom last winter when I pulled into an icey pile of snow. My wife sewed a patch over it and it's fine. She also sewed a couple velcro strips to the bottom front so I could attach it to the lower grill and keep it from blowing back at high speed.

The bra has protectedthe carfrom further paint dings (of which there weredozens when I bought the car). However, there are a couple scratched areas where muck got in the bra and then rubbed on the car. These are on the lower plastic pieces. I have no discoloration and take the bra off (takes two hands....I've lost my touch) several times a summer to thoroughly clean under it and put down multiple coats of wax. I do a lot of highway driving and consider road debris causing dings to be worse than the bra problems. It's also real easy to clean off bugs - I use Armor-All regularly on the bra.

I purchased a complete lower and upper bra from Colgan Customs along with mirror covers in a carbon fiber look. I am incredibly happy with it. I use it mainly when I know I'll be on the highway for an extended period of time and always remove it prior to city traffic and inclement weather. Over the many years of ownership, I have only noticed some very minor scratches along the hood in a couple of areas. I remove them with some patient wet sanding and waxing!

They surely protect the front end in the long hull!

OOOO
