I just bought a 99 a6 - 2.8 and I was wondering if anyone here lives in the ATL area and if so where is the best place to take my car for servicing/maintenance if I live in the Cobb/Fulton County area.?? I don't wont to get ripped off.. If not is it ok to take my car to a non audi place as long as they know what they are doing with cars like a franchised servicing shop??

 

Check these guys out....but they are on Buford highway just outside of the perimeter. Talk with Paul...he's a great guy and has a brother that works at the Jim Ellis dealership so he can usually get good information on most problems that he hasn't seen already.

There is a shop in Marietta but I don't have the specifics for that spot...I will try and find it for you.

 

This is good info for me. I'll be driving down to Atlanta next month and it's nice to know a place to take my car if need be.

 

Thanks for the help, I went by a place called bmv....something in marietta, is that the place your talking about..i'm still going to check around first.

 

If this place is ran by a father and son...then yes. The car guys here in atlanta (durtydubs) suggested "Mike" who works at the shop in marietta, but I don't have anymore information besides that...sorry.
