AUDI 19" RIMS

RE: AUDI 19" RIMS
I'd never go to 19" because of the low sidewall. Here's what I run on my 2003 2.7T....
235/45 R17 Pirelli P6 All-season; OEMs
235/40 ZR18 ContiExtremeContact; Velocity RS4 Replica Rims
A 245 is a wider/taller tire than a 235. Note that as you go from 17" to 18" the profile aspect goes from 45 to 40. Under that logic, going to a 19" means a 35 profile (if such a thing exists). Otherwise the tire diameter is greater than stock which could rub the fender or chassis, and the speedo will be off. Having said that, there are guys on this forum who have run 19" rims and they should chime in with what size tires they ran.

a 19 is not an issue but the tire size you picked is way off.
normal size would be 235/35/19 I used to run a 245/35/19 to get a little extra tirewall... and overall diameter was within acceptable range. BUt 245 40 is way off, check the tire calculator on discounttire.com
