I just got my 2009 A6 3.0T Premium Plus with Navigation. I'm still learning and very new to navigation, but is there a way to just turn on the Map on navigation system without entering any information such as destination information. I would just like to have my current position tracked on the local Map area while driving, but am having difficulty getting it to do so. In other words, I just want to have the Map on while driving. Is there a way to do this or do you always need to have a destination entered for it to work. Thank you all very much for your help. This is my first Audi and I love it.

 

Welcome to the club. After you click on Nav, click on the bottom right hand button next to the MMI ****. That should give you the map.
